The Borough Plan is poor for local people and I will set out in my response to the ongoing public consultation why this is a poor plan for local people.

The Plan reflects a local council that after seven wasted years, has put forward a shambolic and confused proposal based on a questionable deal with Coventry and a complete lack of thought or understanding about how the current provision of roads, schools and health services currently work now, let alone the effect of unbalanced development.

It is a plan that does not provide enough employment land for new jobs and misses the opportunity for regeneration of our town centre where new housing would really help.

I urge local people to make their views known in the last few days of the consultation.
