Nuneaton MP, Marcus Jones, has urged local community groups and charities to ‘get cosy’ and apply for a grant from the Energising Communities Fund, promoted by energy supplier, E.ON.
Groups and charities can apply for funding up to £2,000 which can cover the full or partial cost of energy-related improvements and activities.
“I understand that heating bills can account for a large part of the running costs for a community group or charity so their need to become energy efficient and save on costs is really important. Through this fund, groups and charities can get assistance to become more sustainable and begin to lower these costs.” said Marcus.
To be eligible for funding, organisations must submit a request by midnight on Monday 29th January 2018.
