North Warwickshire & Hinckley College is the latest organisation to back the Jobs Fair organised by local Warwickshire MPs Dan Byles and Marcus Jones.
The Jobs Fair, which takes place on Thursday 28 June at Bedworth Civic Hall, is being sponsored by The Premier Group and has attracted the support of a number of small and large businesses, as well as various voluntary sector organisations and is backed by Jobcentre Plus.
North Warwickshire & Hinckley College has given it’s full backing to the event and has offered to provide transport to communities with limited transport links, to enable as many people in these areas to attend the Jobs Fair as possible.
Speaking about their involvement, the College Principal, Marion Plant said: “I am delighted to associate the College with this initiative and in providing additional transport support I hope that working together with our local MPs and local businesses, we can provide vital access to local young people who are searching for work in today’s competitive marketplace.”
Commenting on the College’s support, Nuneaton’s MP, Marcus Jones said: “The support of the College is very welcome and demonstrates that there is a real appetite to make the Jobs Fair accessible to as many people as possible from Nuneaton and the wider more rural Hartshill and Arley areas.
Adding, the MP for North Warwickshire and Bedworth, Dan Byles said: “Ensuring that the Jobs Fair is open to all who are interested is a huge challenge given some transport links in more rural communities so the support from North Warwickshire & Hinckley College in providing additional transport is a tremendous boost for local jobseekers.”
