Nuneaton’s MP Marcus Jones has today (24 April) met with representatives from Ladbrokes to discuss his involvement in the Rotary charity walk for the Mary Ann Evans Hospice, which takes places on this Sunday 29 April.

The MP, who is to take part in the charity walk this Sunday,has been offered attractive odds of 3/1 to complete the 21 mile walk in under 7 hours.

Ladbrokes have given Marcus a £50 charity bet which Marcus hopes to convert into £200 from Ladbrokes if he is successful.

Commenting on the event Marcus said: “I am really looking forward to be joining the Rotary Walk and looking forward to raising money for Mary Ann Evans Hospice. In addition to the traditional sponsorship that people have been kind enough to pledge, It’s fantastic to have received this support from Ladbrokes, although I am not sure if the odds are a little bit optimistic!”
