Marcus Jones, the Member of Parliament for Nuneaton, has announced the launch of a new supermarket surgery in the town.
The move, aimed at complementing his regular MP advice surgeries held throughout the constituency, will allow member of the public to drop in for a chat with their MP during their shop.
The first supermarket surgery will take place on Friday 27 January from 11am until 12noon at the Nuneaton ASDA store. The surgery will then take place on the third Friday of every month thereafter. See in store for times.
Commenting on the supermarket surgery, Marcus said: “This is another way of making sure that I am as accessible as possible to local residents who may not be able to attend one of my regular surgeries but who may have an issue they would like to discuss with me.
“I am very grateful to ASDA for inviting me to hold a drop in session in store and I very much hope that people take the opportunity to pop in for a chat over a coffee.”
No appointment is necessary for the supermarket surgery.
