Marcus Jones has welcomed two additional post boxes, which are to be installed by Royal Mail, at Church Lane in Weddington and on Maple Park, following complaints from local residents.

Royal Mail have written to Marcus, who is seeking re-election to Parliament at next month’s General Election, to confirm that they have agreed to install new post boxes.

Commenting on the announcement, said: “I have had a number of emails and letters from residents complaining about the lack of a post box in Church Lane and on Maple Park, where there is no post box at all, so I contacted Royal Mail on behalf of local residents requesting that they consider requests to have new post boxes installed and I am pleased that Royal Mail have agreed.”

Royal Mail have confirmed to Marcus that there are several steps they need to take in order to ensure the installation process is completed as quickly as possible.
