I share the disappointment of the many ‘Coventry Bees’ supporters in Nuneaton that the world-famous club won’t be competing in the 2017 SGB Premiership season.

The club, which has a long and impressive history, can only survive and flourish if it has a secure home stadium and I sincerely hope that all of those involved will act in the best interests of the fans, riders and sport of Speedway to resolve their differences and end the uncertainty surrounding the club’s future.

I am pleased to support the Coventry Observer’s campaign and would urge all Speedway fans living in Nuneaton to “Save our Bees”.
