Marcus Jones MP

The proposals are made by the Boundary Commission who are independent of politics. The requirements of the review are to reduce the number of MPs from 650 to 600 and create more equal sized constituencies so that each MP represents a similar number of people principles which I fully support.

The Boundary Commission are proposing boundaries for the Nuneaton constituency that are not dissimilar from those that existed between 1983 and 2010. So it's not an extraordinarily proposal.

This is a consultation and any changes would not be until 2020. I will therefore continue to focus on representing the people of Nuneaton, Arley and Hartshill to the best of my ability.
