Marcus Jones MP visited a pharmacy in Nuneaton this week to give his support to pharmacists and call attention to the NHS services available from pharmacies.
Pharmacist, Peter Gill, gave the local MP a guided tour and demonstrated the range of health services available including Stop Smoking support, Flu Vaccination service, Medicines Use Review and blood pressure checks.
Following the visit, Mr Jones said: “During my visit to Primary Care Pharmacy, I was hugely impressed with the range of public health services and I really believe that community pharmacies can play a vital role in helping people stay healthy and take control of their own well being. I took the opportunity of having my blood pressure measured and discussing how healthy living improves and maintains wellness.”
